22 year old Tanguy Ndombele is a Tottenham transfer target. However, a number of big clubs are chasing his signing. Manchester United, Juventus, PSG and City are also in the running, making him a player in demand. The Lyon based central midfielder has played 34 games this season and performed well enough to warrant all the attention he is getting.
Ndombele has emerged out of these rumours and clarified his stance recently. The reported Tottenham transfer target seems set to stay on at Lyon where he has been an important player as the French side finished third in their domestic league behind PSG and Lille.
Ndombele is a Tottenham transfer target who doesn’t want to leave Lyon.
There are reports circulating that even go on to list the price Lyon have been quoting to any clubs making inquiries about the central midfielder. Ndombele has been capped four times by France and at 22 will only get better with time.
“Of course I could see myself staying with Lyon, the club will be in the Champions League. “

The statement above has the potential to shoot down all rumours linking Ndombele with Tottenham but as many players have said before, nothing is ever for sure in football. Anything could happen.
Ndombele could play both as a central midfielder (2 goals and 4 assists in 22 appearances) or as a defensive midfielder. He would certainly give Pochettino a different option in midfield which he has missed since thee departure of Mousa Dembele.
