UEFA is ready to help the Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan to obtain his visa which would allow him to play in the finals of the Europa League to take place in Azerbaijan in May.

Since the game will be organised in Baku, Azerbaijan, there are doubts over his participation due to the ongoing diplomatic tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

According to reports in ESPN FC, UEFA expects the former Manchester United player to be granted a permit for those participating in any sports event which would eventually hand the north Londoners a potential boost if they reach the finals.
