Unai Emery is interested in signing PSG right back Thomas Meunier this summer.
The Gunners boss wants to reinforce Arsenal’s backline and has been at fault for a leaky defence throughout the season.
Meunier has failed to make through the lineup at PSG.
Emery is desperate to take advantage of the situation, and according to France Football, Arsenal is preparing a bid.
The report claims that PSG will demand €30m for the Belgian international.
The 27-year-old is most likely open for a switch to the Emirates because Emery knows Meunier from his time at PSG.
There is a possibility of North London outfit to face a competition with Manchester United for Meunier who has scored five times and provided seven assists for PSG this campaign.

Elsewhere, Arsenal has been given indications of Ismaila Sarr’s availability by Rennes, but the French club wants a reasonable fee for his signature this summer.
The 21-year-old has become one of the most exciting players in Ligue 1 this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 36 appearances for the club.
The Senegal international helped the French outfit to finish 10th in the top flight and also played a vital role in the club’s win against Paris Saint Germain in the finals of the French Cup.
According to Metro Sport, Arsenal has maintained their interest in Sarr for a while now, as Rennes are willing to sell out the player in the transfer window, but only if a club offers their demand of £44 million.
The Gunners are well assured to acquire Sarr, but that could largely depend on whether or not they end up winning the Europa League final on Wednesday against Chelsea.
Meanwhile, the Rennes starlet is yet to show his calibre on the big stage, but his age and potential may be the two main reasons for his hefty price tag, which is not likely to fall in the coming months.
Sarr can add a new dimension to Arsenal’s pace attack, but it has to be seen whether or not the club will launch an official bid for the Senegalese winger.
The 47-year-old Spaniard saw Arsenal finishing in the fifth-place in the Premier League in his debut campaign at the Emirates Stadium and reinforcements are very much necessary if he wants to take the team to a new level in the next season.
