It won’t be long before Manchester United sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and join the for hunt Mauricio Pochettino says Sky Pundit Paul Merson.
Solskjaer is under the pump after merely two months of his appointment as the permanent Man United manager.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s league record as interim manager:
Won: 10 ✅
Drawn: 2 ➖
Lost: 1 ❌
Record since being made permanent manager:

The 45-year-old oversaw a meteoric rise in United’s fortunes since taking over from Jose Mourinho back in December.
However, since his appointment was made permanent, he has failed to deliver on that promise.
The Red Devils have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League, and a poor run of results in the league means that United won’t be featuring in the competition next season.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham pulled off a miraculous comeback in Amsterdam to make it to their first ever Champions League final.
and Merson believes that it’s only a matter of time before United show Solskjaer the door and go all in for Pochettino.
“Mauricio Pochettino has done an unbelievable job at Tottenham, and it’s time to show him the money,” Merson told the Daily Star.
“He deserves all their backing in the transfer market now because getting that team into the Champions League final is a phenomenal achievement.
“Spurs have to take a chance sooner or later. They haven’t bought anyone for two transfer windows now. Make a statement.
“If they have the money, they should give it to him. He can’t keep on performing miracles like this. Unless he gets £200m or so to spend, he might walk away.
“Imagine if Spurs win the Champions League. What more can he do? He might feel that’s job done. He said as much before the semi-final.
“That should terrify Spurs because he’s a club’s dream. He never really complains. He just gets on with his job. He never comes out and says ‘I need three players’.
“I was really pleased for him when Spurs got to the final because he deserves it. He always gets criticised for not winning a trophy. I’ve criticised him too.
“But he could end up winning the biggest one of all and skip the rest! He’s just made Chelsea and Arsenal getting to the Europa League final look Micky Mouse!
“The trouble for Spurs is that you could easily see other clubs coming in for him. They got lucky when Manchester United and Real Madrid looked elsewhere.
“But I’m not convinced it’s going to work out for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at all at Old Trafford. It might not be long before United come knocking for Pochettino again.”
