Virgil Van Dijk may only have seen Liverpool win the first leg of the quarter-final so far but he believes the team will go on to the final of the Champions League.
In such a scenario, Liverpool will have to play 9 games till the end of the season. Van Dijk thinks we can do this on our own and he says the players that don’t have the belief can stay at home.
Liverpool won 2-0 at Porto, where the Porto president thanked his stars for Salah not breaking Danilo’s leg. However, Van Dijk has eyes set on bigger targets. Such as winning the Champions League.
“It’s still something we need to believe and do, but if you think about it, what is nine games?” Van Dijk told reporters at Anfield.
“You have to believe otherwise you can just stay home next time. Go for it.
