Naby Keita has only made 13 league appearances this season. However, his arrival for a fee of around £48 million demands more.
According to centre-back Virgil Van-Dijk, the midfielder gives Liverpool another dimension in the midfield. James Milner, Fabinho and Henderson can see out a job when they have to but there ability to affect a game in the box is limited.
Naby Keita can dribble past players, assist and score goals. Even if the fans haven’t seen much of it before the last two games, other players in the squad have recognized his ability.
The Guinean is finally finding his feet at Anfield and Van-Dijk only has praise for the lad:
“He’s a fantastic player, obviously we see it day-in, day out, and I’m happy for him that he’s starting. Two goals in two games, I’m pleased for him.”
