Red Devils defender Victor Lindelof has reacted to the links of Harry Maguire to Manchester United by claiming that he loves the competition.
Victor Lindelof has been one of the most improved players in the Manchester United squad even after the dismal 2018/19 season where most of the players managed to embarrass and anger the most ardent of United fans.
However, the Swede, who had a slow start to his career at the Old Trafford, has quickly made himself undroppable under Ole at the heart of our defense.
But, the problem is, we still don’t have a world-class partner for the 24-year-old.
While we have been linked to £80m transfer for Harry Maguire, what does Lindelof thinks about the situation?
As per the Swede himself:
“I like the competition.
“I love it, actually.
“I think it’s great for a club to have that competition. If you have good players in your position you have to work hard every day, especially in training, and that helps a team to go to the next level as well.
“For me it’s perfect. I like it. I think everyone at this club wants to be at the highest level.
“I’m very good friends with them all. In training, we compete and then off the pitch we are friends. That’s how it should be.”

Eric Bailly suffered a serious-looking injury against Tottenham in the last pre-season game of the International Champions Cup, while Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones, with their injury records, cannot be trusted either.
It’s safe to say that we are in a serious need of reinforcements in the center of our defense and hopefully, Ed Woodward could pull one off before the closing of the summer window.
Or, at the very least, let’s go in with the pairing of Tuanzebe and Lindelof with Smalling as the backup?
