Victor Lindelof reveals how Man United will defeat Barcelona

A couple of nervy moments aside, Victor Lindelof gave an assured performance for the Red Devils against Barcelona in the Champions League last night.

The Swedish had the job to control Luis Suarez and keep in check the runs of Messi and Coutinho from the wings and the defender did alright.

However, now, Manchester United HAVE to score at the Nou Camp to have any chance of progressing into the semi-finals of the UCL and Victor Lindelof knows that too.

Speaking after the game, Lindelof revealed what have to do to progress into the next rounds:

“It was a tough game because we played against a really good team.

“At times we played well, but we still have a game to go so we have to look back at this game and see what we could have done better and try to improve.

“It will be a different game to the one in Paris. But we have belief in our team that we can do great things.

“We have shown that before, so we just have to improve a little bit, go down to Barcelona and do our best.

“Yeah of course (game still alive), there is one game to go and we just have to work hard and try to improve those things we didn’t do so good here – and go from there.”

So say we all! We know it sound easy on the paper, but if we can keep a clean sheet, anything can happen upfront when we have got the likes of Rashford, Martial, Lukaku and Lingard on the attack!
