As we covered in our earlier article, Manchester United are reportedly set to break the bank for Declan Rice.
OGS and Ed Woodward are looking at a new Central Midfielder in this summer window and they have identified Declan Rice as a viable option to spend their money on.
However, after his performance, last night in a 2-0 loss to Chelsea, loads of United fans are sceptic over Declan Rice and calling him a waster of money amongst other things:
If McTominay was playing for West ham am sure we we will be all over him too! Rubbish

"Break the bank" for an average player? I'm not paying more than 35m for him.

This had better be a rumour. He’s not all that.

Joke of the decade if this is true. Just another Phil Jones in the making; typical overhyped English player!

Considering the price, a bloody waste of money if we do👎

No he’s awful

Why? We must stop paying huge money for potential. We must sign established players who won't take time to get use to the Premier League and it's demands. #mufc

Declan Rice was underwhelming against Chelsea last night but so were almost all the other West Ham players. Is one game enough to judge a player or do you think Declan is overrated and we should look somewhere else?
