Liverpool have a past with Phillipe Coutinho, but the way this season is unravelling they won’t miss the Brazilian much.
Coutinho forced a transfer to Barcelona last year and has since failed to live up to his own hype. Finding himself on the outskirts of the Barcelona first team, Coutinho is on the lookout for a way out. Or so they say.
One club obviously linked with signing him from the Catalans is Liverpool. The other being Manchester United. Coutinho even played at Old Trafford for Barcelona in the victorious first leg of the quarter-final.
He was bood incessantly by United’s fans in the stands and the reception has made him anxious about a move to Manchester United. The latest reports say he would rather go to a club where he is loved and respected.
Did someone tell him it’s hard to respect a treacherous, ungrateful player?
