Tottenham had a bid rejected for him a while back while Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, and Man City all remain interested in his services according to Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas.
“It’s true that Juventus are after Ndombele,” Aulas told Tuttosport.
“But there’s also PSG, Manchester United and City. I’d honestly like to see Ndombele at Juventus with Pjanic, a player we launched at Lyon and who I’m still very attached to.
“We’ll see what happens. I won’t talk about money. Economic parameters are the priority when selling players, but I’d like to sell him to Andrea Agnelli if all the offers were the same.” Quotes via Sky Sports
The 22-year-old who is valued around €80 million (£71m) has now responded to speculations regarding his future, saying that he is still unsure where his next venture will be.
‘As I told my agents and the club, I’m not fixed yet, I have not made a decision,’ Ndombele told Le Progres after France’s 2-0 win over Bolivia in a friendly.
When asked if he’d like to stay at Lyon, he responded: ‘Of course, I would see myself continuing with Lyon.
‘The club will be in the Champions League, but I have not asked the question about whether to stay or not, and I have not spoken with the new staff.’
Manchester United are in dire need a solid midfielder following Ander Hererra’s departure from the club.
The situation becomes even more precarious for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Ndombele’s compatriot Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain with constant speculation linking him to Real Madrid.
It remains to be seen who the Red Devils can grab in the ongoing summer transfer window but Tanguy Ndombele should be high on the priority list.
