Wolves are leading the race to sign Liverpool ace Rafael Camacho along with their Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Sporting Lisbon from Spain, Football Insider states.
The teenager, who turned 19 today, had last month snubbed Merseysider’s giants’ offer of a five -year deal, with his current contract to expire in the summer of 2020.
The Wolves management is looking for offers from the top flight clubs of European clubs for the versatile attacker, who will be available for sale in the summer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo and the Molineux recruitment management are convinced that Camacho has a lot of potential and will be a massive boost in the lineup.
The midfielder has two first-team appearances for Liverpool and one in FA Cup. He has a good record for the club’s youth teams and has scored 12 goals and provided eight essential assists in just 20 appearances.
Camacho is a talented player who can play anywhere in the forward line. He had an incredible season of 2017-18 as he featured for U-18 and U23 teams.
He was also a part of England’s senior side in the summer of 2018 and made his first-team debut on January 7, 2019.
